Photo shoots, cosy lunches with the head coach, & let us not forget the darts game & the Hull KR commentator publicly kissing his boote.

Rovers have conducted themselves in an excellent professional manner. Get with the scenario. The words you use will not be tolerated as they are unacceptable to the regime.

The photoshoot could and should have waited. And if the private account of his career in finance was no more detailed than the public one, it should have been possible to probe a bit more deeply without being impolite.

The rest - well, with hindsight you wouldn't bother, but much as I found him unconvincing I can't say I'd have done it very differently or would want Rovers to with any future potential investor.

cant blame rovers for looking at the guy,but it was known from the first that this bloke was iffy to say the least, i think it was case of looking at him through rose tinted glasses from rovers, could there have done better about courting him, hindsight is a great thing,

It's only really just occurred to me how it would have looked if the hdm had published them the day after they were taken. They, or whoever arranged the delay, has my thanks!

Fair comment that and it has got me thinking maybe I could pretend I had won the lottery anonymously and get 2 hour lunch date with Gentle, this is really worth considering cos I could tell him not to play hookers as h/backs or even better invest in a friggin decent h/back
