I'm sad to see Rhys go also. Proffesional to the end, and such a shame he wasn't in the seventeen today.
But this forum is for differing opinions whether we agree or not. If that's his opinion, then so be it. We can't all think the same. After all I'd rather someone, if a little controversial would post than rather 'towing the line' . That's why our forum page is dying on it's arris.

I don't think anybody Is towing the line I just think everybody agrees that Rhys was very professional and always gave 100% even when the club were openly trying to get rid of him he kept his dignity and I wish him well in the future

It is annoying how he sits on the fence all the time

Lovegrove came put of nowhere and was a nobody when he arrived. Since then he has proved to be a passionate and skillfull player which the media tend to overlook. Just one example was when a certain Cory Patterson was injured, Rhys stepped in to cover for him for a few games and performed better than Cory ever did. The pack will be worse off without him next season. I blame Sandy for this.

And so say all of us.

Never forget him running over briscoe at the kc or the try at headingley last year. He's been a great signing and if our whole squad had his attitude it wouldn't bead Monday for them next week

That's a real shame and an undignified way to treat such a loyal servant. Lets be honest here, Rhys was no worldbeater, but he's a good honest pro who always gave everything when he played. That's all fans ask for.

Rovers have let themselves (and more importantly the fans) down on this one.

It's the location of the gig that was important for him.

Nobody can question the commitment and loyalty that Rhys has shown to the club. At times he has been treated unfairly by the club. Was told last season he wasn't wanted, but he carried on determined to fight for a place and stay at Rovers. You cannot blame him for deciding to leave for the good of his family! His partner has family and friends in London and by him going there it's a win win for both of them. No doubt Rhys will get a starting place in the Broncos team and a new challenge playing for a team determined to return into Super League. He will be missed both on and off the field, I'm gutted he's going, but I actually can see that it is for the best of the family and I wish them all the best in their next chapter.
