I used to keep Guinea pigs, great little pets.
Just reminded of the time in my younger days when i lived on Diadem, maisonettes. I had a black G-pig called mister and he'd been off colour for a couple of days. Anyway, come weekend i gave him some bread in warm milk which he had a bit of before i went out on the lash in Dolphin. Worse for wear on my return, i went to bed and took him out of his cage to see how he was (being the careing person i am, i'd moved a small cage to bedroom for warmth). Being overserved i soon went to sleep.
On awakening the next morning i immediately remembered taking the pig out of his cage but not putting him back............. to my horror, there he was, resembling a beer mat from said pub........ gutted i was....

As a beer mat?.....didn't have the heart. Mind you, the hole i put him in my parents garden didn't have to be as deep as the others, a bit wider, but not as deep.

Aw that's awful my dog who was a fab scruffy dog only little but tuff as nails used to fight with rag and bone horses killed a cat in front of us it was awful the cat jumped on his back which pretty much narked my dog, my dad got rid of the dog he was 14 best dog ever I still blame the cat and funny my windows used to have ice on my windows had a coal fire to heat up full house kids don't know they're born these days.

My two dogs chase rabbits all the time (not the one's on the island though )....

The other week they both went for one coming in from different directrions, as they are both female Staffies I feared the worst, however the rabbit froze and I was surprised to see the dogs just sniffed it then left it, hubby reckons had it took chase the outcome would have been messy!
They are always growling at the cats outside, one approached them in the street whilst on their leads, the cat spat at them and they cr@pped themeslves!!..Pair of softies the pair of them who like nothing better than playing with the other dogs on the riverbank, especailly a blue whippet who is now their friend and plays the chase me game, the whippet really takes the mick out of them, love it

Never been fond of Liverpool (although I haven't been for years) used to get right on my thrupenny's that people would constantly approaching you in pubs trying to sell you lighters, leather jackets and one time, a leg of lamb.

God I have not had a fish finger sarnie for years...ketchup all over it for me..nom nom!

Mind you I am partial to a pattie buttie drenched in salt & vinegar..only in 'Ull...nom nom!
