| Quote BalearicHullFan="BalearicHullFan"I think the RFL should come in and take the decision away from Hull KR by banning him from the whole game. We don't need people like that at any level of our family orientated sport.'"
I agree. Rovers are in a no win situation. If they do - as they should - sack him, another club would indeed snap him up - good players are short on the ground. It's all very well taking the moral high ground and getting rid if you believe (as I'm sure most right minded supporters and club officials will) Rovers should not be associated with a player capable of committing violence of this magnitude, but pretty galling when you're lining up against him in a couple of weeks.
Who loses? Cockayne or Rovers? I know many will say that is irrelevant as long as Rovers have done the right thing, but is that really the most just outcome?
No, the RFL need to step in and make this decision on behalf of ALL clubs. I bet Rovers would be the first to heave a sigh of relief.
But which is due first - the RFL hearing or the KR one? And is the little turd allowed to appear for Rovers in the mean time?

I think he'll end up in the championship, not superleague standard in my opinion.

'" if you was a parent you'd maybe understand a little more, imagine if it was your own flesh and blood having his head whacked from boot to concrete, boot to concrete... catch my drift, how do you think the victims parents are feeling now after those 2 animals are walking the streets without a care in the world, mind you he did have a flash back, christ on a bike.

| Quote Mrs Barista="Mrs Barista"The outcome of Crocker's trial was a £300 fine. Cockayne got a 12 month sentence, albeit suspended. Have you even seen the video, or are you one of these making ridiculous claims that it's no worse than what their kids see at school on a daily basis?'"
If we are going to have degrees of thuggery then the debate is pointless.Ban one and you ban them all IMO. Are you telling me you would welcome Crocker then?

That flashback attempt to absolve himself from blame was the icing on the cake. What was Cockayne's record in Iraq?
To me that shows no remorse. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've seen no statement of apology or regret anywhere, apart from him admitting that prison was "Hell" for his own poor skin.

| The fact it was caught on cctv just adds to the disgrace of the two . No sane human being could defend it and the punishment handed out has to be accepted whether we agree with it or not .
The RFL has to make a stand somewhere and i think with the video in the public domain they should make it now . Our kids see players as there heroes on the field and should see them in the same light off the field, it's not just this case the unprofessional conduct of some players from across the leagues seems to be growing and a stand must be taken and the law laid down .
