| Quote: Wilderspool memories "Our style of play this year involves grinding sides down before counter attacking with the killer punch. Hull were brave on monday but we always had the measure of them and it was obvious they would crack eventually. We actually scored 23 unanswered points there so must be doing something right! I haven't seen anything from Hull KR this year that worries me and like many people suggest I think they over achieved last year. I think we will win comfortably unless we have a serious off day!
Hull had 7 first choice players out, lost their only recognised 1/2 back early on, ran with only 15 players due to lack of players available and it was still in the balance at 70 minutes. With a fresh, full strength team I think we'd have won

a patched hull side that was missing 3-4 players , still had a decent team out to turn anyone over
if we aint that good how come were second 2 points behind wigan and 2 points infront of saints , or would you call that lucky too

If Rovers do beat one of the form sides at present on sunday it'll be because the fc fans will say Wire played terribly ( even though they won't have seen it ) or the referee was biased or that fc tired them out on monday
Lets hope we give them the opportunity to use one of the excuses.

| What is Hull KR team likely to be then? Any injuries? Any chance Newton and Galea might be rested?

Very little chance of that, Ben Galea missed the start of the season and is just starting to hit form, as for Clint he will relish this game after his hat-trick last time out against you! Mind you I'm not expecting the same this time around. Expecting something more like last years Cup QF but hopefully this time we'll sneak it but to be honest not really expecting us to win as Wire have further strengthened and are playing well and can score tries from all over the park.
We have injuries to Shaun Briscoe and Joel Clinton to worry about as they will be badly needed. Looking forward to it all the same! Experts say this is the weekend when the hard Easter weekend really takes it's toll on players fitness so fingers crossed for an injury-free game!

| Looks like we might not have Monaghan for this game but Westwood back, so team likely to be something like
Mathers, Hicks, King, Atkins, Riley, Briers, Myler, Morley, Higham, Carvell, Westwood, Louis Anderson, Harrison; Grix, Bridge, Wood, Solomona.

Hey up Bertie, can you ever post anything without mentioning F.C.?
The fact they get under your skin IS amusing, but it gets a bit wearisome.

sorry mate but hes a another Hull fan who spends all of his spare time on our pages,
his post was meant to be mind games, you know how it goes, Warrington struggle against a patched up Dull side missing 7 first teamers, with 4 centres playing, blah blah blah, so a full strength Rovers line up should beat the Wire easily kinda thing.
TBH its going to be tough for us as weve struggled against the teams in good form so far, Huddersfield and Wigan spring to mind, but hopefully well be up for this game and turn you lot over, (hopefully)

Matt King reckons Morley is out and Monaghan a big doubt in the HDM. hoping hes right.

Hi BB.
Do you post on any other board apart from Rovers.
The fact you we are always in your thoughts IS amusing but their is life outside our club you know
