I think Carney was genuinely attempting a hand off. I think the late hit on Campese will see a ban, it was very late. Probably a sin bin would not have been out of order. But in truth you were bang average and cas looked pretty impressive.

I don't think any reasonable fan will claim otherwise, we were outplayed on the day by a better side. Their tactics and intent put us on the back foot and it was a day for us when the 50/50 balls go the floor rather than to hand. It happens and as long as we accept that we will get days like that then we will be fine. We are still way ahead in commitment and passion to where we were last season and as long as the players give their all and tackle their hearts out I for one will be happy.

My mis-understanding squire. Gollum's idiocy was on full show again when he interviewed CC. He asked him how he thought we were going after 5 wins & 5 draws, which Chessie pulled him on. He then went on to throw some stats about repeat sets the Lee Richardson had read out earlier, and completely got them wrong too. He needs putting out of his misery with a retirement home.
