I would leave Caro in and play Gardner in place of Hodgson who offers little, IMO.

How did the ref do ?

It looked clear from the off that saints thought our wings were the areas to target. Probably helped us win the first half. We blew them away in the second half.

Don't do stupid things like give silly penalties away and don't moan like a set of girls. Check.
Don't be brain dead with the ball by slightly simplifying the play. Check.
Actually use your brains without the ball. Check.

Despite a few glaring errors for both sides, I thought it was the best performance I have seen from Childs, I know that isn't a massive statement, but as Duane said, we were moving forward so quickly at times, he didn't really have chance to ping us.
I also agree that when Welham went off and was replaced by Horne, we looked miles better out wide, and also that Disco should be replaced by Gardner ( although I think he went off before the end anyway).

Here is one for the conspiracy theorists. Callum Lancaster was apparently in the East Stand this afternoon, now I don't know anything about him, he may be a Rovers fan for all I know and most likely just fancied watching a game on his day off, but it Definitely got a few tongues wagging.

Him and his family are apparently Rovers fans but there is no way he will be coming to us. Hull offered more money apparently.

As for the match I thought looking at our pack prematch we'd get beaten but our lads really stood up, the best I've seen the burns/keating partnership work. Big raps for the obvious caro, hall, Eden and burns but also for netherton who had his best game for rovers in years.

Also best I've seen childs ref, kept a very low profile and let it flow.
