I don't think anybody is saying what Weyman did was right, the issue is, yet again, the inconsistancy being shown be the disciplinary system, bearing in mind the other examples of abusing officials that went on during the course of this round of games.

Apparently Hudge has got his appeal on Monday and has been tweeting to Marwan Koukash that this weekends goings on will be featuring in his case. Just because it's obviously inconsistant and bent, these clowns make it up as they go along so I won't be getting my hopes up for a positive fair outcome.

For me, it boils down to what he actually said. If it's worthy of disciplinary action then obviously fair enough. If it's just general venting which you see/hear in a lot of games, then it's a nonsense charge.

I'm still of the opinion Roby was out to do us following his CP soaking. He strikes me as an arrogant git and after that pint and his subsequent stare, looked like he had intent. Of course, he has every right to be ed off in truth. However, if every official went out for revenge cos' of some of our fans' actions, then we really would be in trouble.

Still, in defence of Roby. As a team, it looked like we'd been giving him loads from early on (rightly or wrongly). When is enough, enough? Maybe 10mins would've been better, but without knowing what he said, that's just hopeful thinking it wasn't that bad.

I'm with Stan though, you'd like to think Weyman would know better given his experience and indeed the current match situation. We'd been well beaten by a good side. We hadn't played well. We were down to the bare bones. Time was ticking on. The match as a contest looked to be petering out a bit, the damage was already done. Was Roby's decision(s) by this time, really worth giving a toss about?

Nail on head, inconsistency been the operative word in this case, you see it week in week out and will continue to so so until the good for nothing fools at the RFL raise their game.
Its hardly a wonder that many fans are becoming disillusioned with the game, me included, when you witness incompetence on such a scale in what is supposed to be a professional sport .

100% agree about the equality . Peacock should be banned , hardacker should get a massive ban , Jason Crookes got 2 games for a head high tackle and rightly so yet Scott moore does the same and sending off sufficient apparently . The nuggets at red hall need to bring some transparency into proceedings .

All the the above doesn't change the fact IF (which I believe he did) Weyman used abusive language at the official then he should be banned like he has been .

Its been said before, I don't think anybody really has a problem with Mick getting sent off. It was the right thing to do, the problem everybody has is the Jamie peacock situation, exactly the same scenario but the ref and subsequently the rfl review panel choosing to do nothing about it despite Micks comments not even being audible to the ref mic and peacocks being aired on live tv.
