Players who do things like this, should be banned from the SL for a couple of seasons. Just like the NRL do with there players.

Unless of course the debate is stopped and the thread locked as has happened in some other cases.

Personally , I think it is a valid debate and people should be able to air their views.

And air their views they will. Every pub in Hull will have plenty of people discussing the in's and out's of this subject for some time never mind RL forums. At least its better than discussing Peggy Mitchells wedding on Eastenders FFS.

The outcome of Crocker's trial was a £300 fine. Cockayne got a 12 month sentence, albeit suspended. Have you even seen the video, or are you one of these making ridiculous claims that it's no worse than what their kids see at school on a daily basis?

People cannot condone that sort of behavior if he had been a bus driver his licence would have been taken off him and his livelihood would have gone ..just because he is a sportsman there should be no difference ..That go for all Sports people.. they are ROLE models to the youngsters who love watching any sporting event ..the only people who get satisfaction out of incident like is the drunken thugs who do it but don't get caught ..and people should not be making this a HKR/Hull debate the incident would have sicked true Rugby supporters of both teams
