| Didn't the op see last weeks petition ??
Stick to one not a new one every Monday after clubs get done over by the MRP.its unfit for purpose as Hudge stated, this week is as bad, not 1 punch thrown so it seems and not one incident looked at in a few games yet loads at HKR v Waky. #RFLCorrupt

| I saw last week's petition and it nosedived dramatically. That's why I decided to give people who don't agree with the RFL something else to sign which has a better (if slim) chance of success.

| By nosedived I mean it started brilliantly and then people stopped signing it quite rapidly. Mine probably won't have that many, but it might (might before people jump on top of me) do better in the long run.

| That's the problem with fans of different clubs, they like to do their own thing, never join forces which would see something change for the better.
After looking at both, they seem the same, infact the 1st looks better in presentation, less Hudgel etc, its not about him or those 2 tackles its about the whole system.

| I wont sign yours because it accuses them of bias. They are bobbins at their job but not biased against Hull's clubs.

| @SirStan. I removed the part accusing them of bias a couple of hours ago for the record. It isn't true and obviously stopped many people from signing it.
Will you sign it now?

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |
|
| When has a petition actually changed anything I'd say never

| Well they managed to put Jane Austen on the £10, due to there not being enough women on bank notes (have they never heard of the Queen?), and get Malala nominated for the Nobel Peace price, as he protested against girls not being allowed into schools and get shot.
The problem is with this petition is that it hasn't been publicist and many people disagree with something in my petition.
If we all got together at some point and had a chat, we'd come up with a fantastic one but I came up with it independently and my lack of knowledge and evidence was its downfall.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Quote: colesy99 " (have they never heard of the Queen?), '"
An appeal for change pulls in all the discontented, but agreeing on a specific set on of changes is difficult because many of us differ, at least in terms of degree, as to what the problems are.
I'll be honest and admit that the refereeing and MRP are not a huge bugbear for me. On competence, what goes around comes around is the consolation I take. Obviously sometimes it doesn't and where unconscious bias is (in my own highly subjective opinion) an issue that is annoying. I still haven't forgiven James Child for that game on Sky at Saints a few years ago. But anyway...
Stuff like the hash they made of licensing and Wigan's laughable penalty for flagrantly breaching the cap back in 2006 is the sort of thing that really undermines my confidence in the governance of the sport. But how much of that is totally the RFL's fault? They should have had rules, but powerful club chairman in some instances were open about the 'need' for flexibility. Or double standards IMO - certainly in the case of licensing.
Then there's stuff like whether the new league structure is a good idea, whether central revenue generation is what it should be, whether the salary cap and overseas quotas are in the right place.
Nearly everybody wants change and envisions the new dawn as looking like their own ideal. Very few agree on the details though.
