So lets get this straight. It is perfectly acceptable for some one to drape flags over the FC shop in Saville Street and also outside our home stadium pre game. But, it is not acceptable to any form of retaliation???
Ok then.

| The whole flag thing has definitely caused a bit of a talking point, but was factually correct. We were at Wembley, and FC were at home. I hate to use the word Banter, but that's what it was and it got folk in Hull and the media in general talking about it. So it did what I suppose it was designed to do. The fact Rovers then went and cocked it up then gave the FC fans the perfect opportunity to strike back and they have, and if the boot had been on the other foot then exactly the same would have happened I've no doubt.

Exactly right.
My take is the same as it was for us in 2013, forget the final and just remember the great day of the semi final. Take a positive.
Got to say I feel the city hall thing today is a complete joke though, should only ever have been agreed to if you had have won.

I'm afraid they did. Despite my obvious disappointment I thought it was quite amusing that your fans went out in the p*ssing rain to hang "you'll never win at Wembley flags" just accept it as banter. What goes around comes around.

Take a little longer, I saw plenty of effort from your guys. Kelly was stand out and Dixon, even though he was having a mare, never stopped trying. The try saving tackle on Hall by Sio? was awsome, not many stop Hall from there 1 on 1.
Quote: Kiljoy " I wouldn’t blame Peacock for saying thanks; but no thanks. I’m off somewhere else. '"
Not a chance, won't back away from a tough situation. Great addition to your coaching squad.
I know Saturday was a tough day for you guys, but give it some time. You had a brilliant run to the final taking some big scalps along the way, that didn't make you a brilliant team any more than losing to an on fire Leeds team makes you a crap one. You are a work in progress as are all other teams. See you next year at HQ

Peacock isn't joining the coaching staff.

If Rugby League Rocks, then Hull KR is its Soul.: |

Sorry mate, disagree strongly with you here and agree more with Kiljoy. All talk beforehand was about Rovers needing to bring their A game to the final and leave every ounce of effort on the field in order to beat Leeds.
For me, it was our Z game, akin to our turgid performance against Halifax 2 weeks earlier and not those higher octane performances against Wigan, Catalans and Warrington in the earlier rounds. It was flat, uninspiring, lacked speed and urgency and was tactically sterile.
Albert Kelly was bang average, Maurice Blair pedestrian, Shaun Lunt bang below average and Kieran Dixon a mistake-ridden liability, despite his quick feet and fluorescent yellow boots. John Boudebza was OK when he was on the field.
So the creative spine of our team didn't create or kick well enough and the forwards didn't really sweat blood for the cause. Our fringe attackers weren't good enough in both attack or defence. Apart from a 10 minute period in the final quarter, when Leeds went 32-0 up, we didn't up our intensity levels to try to score and then Dixon bombed a clear 2 man overlap on the right 10m out to go it alone and later coughed up 2 further possessions to bring the total number of gift tries on the day to 5.
Leeds were outstanding in every aspect.
Nothing more to say other than for me there were no positives in our performance on the day whatsoever. We created CC history for all the wrong reasons. We are better than that. Most impartial or realistic observers know it. We failed on all levels and let our fans, RL neutrals and the watching public down very badly. I'm really upset.

I've never said it's not ok, just that we've been told for years that it's little club syndrome focusing on your neighbours. I'll admit I didn't know about the banner on the kc, that's pretty pathetic and setting yourself up for a fall, the only positive I can think that will have is the invoice Allam will send to Pearson for taking it down

The Windows above your little shack belong to our shop. We can hang whatever we like from our own Windows.

I've never insisted anything of the sort, nor am I arguing the opposite now. Merely pointing out the double standard employed by many of your fans in the wake of the weekend's debacle.
That said, you have to be in finals to win them and the financial benefit is substantial. Some compensation at least, although I can say that while sitting through our no-show in 2013 I did wish we'd never made it there in the first place.
