TBF, I gave up on on trying to understand who we can and can't sign years ago. I just wait for either you or Obergruppenführer Mild Rover to turn up and either sanction or dismiss the signing.
I have a similar arrangement with Madame Kenco and accounts.

We can have 5 non-fed and 5 quota.
Quota=No right to work here.
Non-fed=not trained in the SL.
Players can be on 1 or both lists.
That is it yet some seemingly clever folks can't get their heads around it.
As an example avoiding exemption (Of which I can't see there being any more).

So, O'Hara and Withers get a Crusaders dispensation, Lovegrove we've done to death, I'm assuming Dobson doesn't count from him being at Catalans, but where does that leave blake Green (if he stays) and Tyla Hepi?
I think I have some sort of learning disability in this area.

Green is going to Wigan.
Tyla Hepi is under 21, and while he remains so is club-trained. If he fits in 3 years before he turns 21, he'll stay club-trained - dunno if he will, I'd presume so. Born in this country iirc. |

Hepi is still a first team squad member, although hasn't played, so under twenty one doesn't count then? |

For Hepi he is homegrown/exempt until he turns 21 if he has been at HKR for 3 years at that point he stays homegrown.
CLUB TRAINED
Definitions
“Federation” means the RLEF;
B1:13A At the time of notification in any season of the Provisional First Team Squad and First Team
Squad and following any amendments during the season, a Club’s First Team Squad, where
that Club is in Super League, must consist of:
(a) a maximum of 5 players who satisfy none of the definitions of Club Trained, Federation
Trained or are working towards either classification.
(b) a minimum of 8 Club Trained Players or Academy Juniors working towards that
classification.
(c) the remainder being made up of Club Trained, Federation Trained Players or Academy
Juniors working towards either classification.
B1:13B The following definitions shall apply to Clause B1:13A above:
(c) ‘Academy Junior’: a player who is eligible by age to play at Under 21 level and who is on
the Club’s Register. |
