| Strange one for sure
The real question is on tickles value, if he's getting paid minimal and as a back up then its not a bad option especially as a middle man. I don't think he was signed to enhance the team but probably provide back up as scruton and johnson could be mid term injuries. If that's the case then i don't think its bad value.
Vaivai looks exciting enough, worth a punt for me

Tickle was awful last season but the other fella might be worth a punt.'"
not a lot of quality flying about though is there, considering Cas have signed james green and mitch clark in that position, Paea's a punt really considering that was based on form of 2/3 years ago, Wigan signed an unknown aussie prop Hamlin is it? as a 5th/6th choice and played a large number of games in SL last year its not bad.
A lot of our fans just need to take the fact he played for Hull out of the equation

| Not a good signing 4 year ago let alone now.Past it and was told he was a bit of a bad influence when at Hull off the field? We seem to have good spirit behind the scenes and all this does is clog up a young players route to first team. Would rather see Lawler or even Salter before this crepwit. What a sack of dung signing

After Walne and Lee I took the line of decent squad players and Walne has time to be decent. This signing looks desperate and it's nothing to do with being ex FC he is simply not good enough anymore.Cant see any positives to this and god knows what Sheens thinking? Yes Sheens is highly experienced and I'm just a fan but this is a shocker imo

| Just looked at the HDM article and the VaiVai signing also looks a strange one? 3 major injuries and fitness not guaranteed? Oh well just hope he stays fit and we avoid Rock bottom

MIKE SMITH- THE BEST CENTRE HULL HAS EVER MADE!: |
|
| tickle signing looks like a real shocker and nullifies vaivais capture a little, he looks a decent capture and what we needed, sign of the times , leeds, wigan, saints seem to bring through super league quality youngsters through and should prosper most in the coming years. as the overseas market dries up over here .rather have taken a punt on a youngster from the lower leagues , easier said than done though

| If we do the business on the pitch then Alls well and good.is VaiVai an upgrade on JBF? Puzzling signings even now after initial shock has settled. It's beer o'clock and time to go see what happens tonight. Definitely a Bovril called for

You have to wonder to be fair. Both have struggled with knee injuries. JBF's a little youger and has a Visa. He also had a few brain explosions in the Championship, of course. Vaivai has played NRL but not since 2011, has a conviction for assaulting a girlfriend and expects his visa to arrive 'within the next few weeks'.
Still, he's Rovers now (pending visa), so fingers crossed he can play a bit.

no teams will get many nrl players due to the salary cap now. in fact our best players may go to nrl . time for all clubs to bring on there own young players
