what i have seen of rovers this year IE on telly they look a lot better then the last 2 seasons or even the last 3 they do not throw the towel in when losing hope they keep it up

I would expect anybody to play a bit cack after a 21 hour flight, jet lag, another flight, disrupted sleep patterns, team mates who you barely know and one day to learn the playbook.

Tilse was more effective during his second stint, but I agree he made a half decent start to his Rovers career given some of the far from ideal preparation he had.

I thought he looked decent to me and probably should of been saved till Wigan game but needs must he tackled well and didn't take a step backwards, all the traveling can't of helped him, and he needs to stay out of dummy half what was he playing at?

The only thing I would say about your team is that at least you play some enterprising rugby.
Defeats aren't as painful if you've at least been entertained.
You should try following a team that can only try and barge their way over the way. And they can't even do that successfully.

The thing is we look ok, but if we keep the group together then there'll be a lot of promise next year. Our big problem will be if we lose too many in the close season. We need consistency in the team, hope this is it.

Tilse did ok, his first carry and drop aside. Looks to have a decent offload. Not a lot of grunt shown in that stint but early days yet.

We had tackles in the bag but hey I dont want to stop his off the cuff plays, we just have to except that somtimes he will not pull it off.

Thought a few times we were a pass or half yard away from a score and on another day the game could've ended different. I guess we used up the good fortune in the reverse fixture @ home.
Not a lot seemed to go our way at times, and even when the on field ref gave us a reprieve sometimes, the video refs took it away. Not pointing towards the ref card, just frustrating.

Looked a bit like Catalans targeted Tilse and he was on the end of some intense early hits. Welcome to super league.
Catalans may be one of the bigger/tougher sides in the comp, but we literally seemed to lose the contact/control/wrestle about 3 times a set. No surprise that we conceded penalties on the back of this.
Another commendable effort overall, but I think we needed to have a bit more firepower from the bench to see us past them.
