Just a quick point on this myth of Hull KR's travelling support.
the last 4 years at ours their figures are 1,084, 838, 770,552, Salford brought 780 and 973 and wakefield 724 and 970 respectively in their last 2 visits, so not all that big a difference really.

Regardless of how many Salford get they still have loyal fans and they would be gutted as well. Dont take this the wrong way but losing that game when in front twice and Salford losing three players they did really well to take the game but if you cannot defend a 8 point lead with 3 mins to go then sorry you deserve what you get

You will have a chance of getting back up but don't fall for the ones saying you will go straight back up. Those young good players you have will now be receiving calls from their agents offering better terms with other clubs.
It isn't just the £1m in central funds you lose but between £0.5m and £1m in lost gate receipts and sponsorship due to having hardly any away support coming apart from the Bulls fans who do tend to travel still. 3-4k gates will be the norm unfortunately.
We will now see how good Peacock is at his job in trying to build a team in a few weeks as most of your team are now thinking do they really want to travel to places in the championship if they get offers elsewhere. The next few weeks are vital to a relegated club.
It is a tough way to go down but KR are a good club and if your chairman, Peacock, Sheens and the players you end up with all do their jobs you will get a crack at the middle 8s again next year. It isn't the end of the world. It just feels like it. You will get used to it and that first year makes a change going to these new places you haven't seen for many years.
