If Rugby League Rocks, then Hull KR is its Soul.: |

Dobson was continually harassed as our kicker whilst the opposition's had a cig then kicked.'"
Spot on assessment BF. Danny Brough kicked us into oblivion in our first pre-season friendly this year. We talked pre-game today of putting him under pressure. Did we do it? Did we f**k.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

| What was that fiasco when campese got injured- physio ran off the pitch and left him standing there unable to walk whilst campese is frantically waving his arms at the bench!!!

| Quote: moxi1 "Shame for Terry, looked really good after 9 months out.
Will say this. Everytime he had that ball, no matter what, he was hit late. The referee did not protect him at all. It was a clear game plan by Huddersfield. It wasn't as if they did it discreetly either, everytime it was a blatant niggle, tap to the floor. Had he penalised them the first time, they would of stopped and terry might not be injured as he is.'"
hope you're not suggesting anything illegal? a couple were late, but committed rather than malicious, and if anything it should be your own players protecting him, but they left him wide open and countless invites for our players to pressure him.
to suggest our players deliberately went out to injure a fellow professional is a bit off.

| Think there was only one maybe by Crabtree that I thought was late. The rest were fine I reckon. We just assume it's not allowed cos we never see our team do it. Brough did what he wanted today, as he always does. Not just kicking every time he got the ball he had time to pick his pass. It's such a simple concept, it was mentioned pre match yet on the pitch he goes 80 minutes without a glove laid on him. It's stuff like that which worries me. If we can't even do something as basic as put their star half back under any pressure what hope have we got

What about the 1 on half time when the play had stopped for a scrum and taia (not sure on spelling) ran and smashed campo?

| Don't mean to sound blinkered but I honestly didn't see that one so can't comment. Think it will be a lot clearer on all those challenges watching it back, can be hard to tell properly at the game with one look. Without watching it back though I can guarentee Brough never got hit when kicking the ball

| Just a quick thought tho. Didn't we get rid of Webster (who was well thought of) for an injury that would of kept him out of the then Hull Kr team for a fraction of the time Campese has already been out?!
Just putting it out there, would it be worthwhile 'if' this is another long term injury to our highest paid player to cut our losses and look elsewhere.

We should have done that 8 months ago,I know its his hamstring this time, but he is sure to be targeted by opposing teams like yesterday, and with 2 dodgy knees its a risk we couldn't afford to take imo.

| We paid Webster off as he was half way through the last year on his contract, so I'd imagine it only cost 30-40k. Campese has at least 18 months left at a much higher wage ( depending on who you believe it's anywhere between 100-500k). So paying him off simply isn't an option. He stays or retires, no other option.

It'll cost us a darn sight more if we finish up in the championship mate.Pity he wont do what michael weyman did,its tough on terry but injuries have blighted him the last 3 years, which is why canberra let one of their club legends go.
