The ref was rubbish for both sides last night. Lost count of how many strips your players got away with and how many forward passes we got away with. It happens week in, week out to every team. We deal with it.

Yes our 50 fans were probably frustrated too. We don't take much away from home but at least we don't cry at every desision. It was embarrassing last night.
Worse than the time your fans screamed forward a few seasons back when the ball wasn't even passed.
I wouldn't come to your ground in the future with the risk of a headache! The atmosphere stinks!

Your support however is fantastic.. Spend your time getting behind the lads and your place will be a scary place to come.

I've never claimed to have not blamed or complained about refereeing performances, I'm talking about your club...Chairman/Coach/Fans having this issue with them which causes them to be booed and jeered even while doing their warm ups, your fans had decided way before that game started last night that you were going to be hammered by the ref and made it quite clear that he was going to 'get it' from your fans if he didn't give a decision your way whenever the fans decided they wanted one.

We've all slated ref's at games before but i've never ever seen a crowd do it before he's actually done anything bad....even the radio station after the game had the victim thing going on and were almost begging Sandercock and the players they interviewed to gripe about the ref.

Last time he was at the ground he received a standing ovation and that did us no good, so it doesn't seem to matter whether we boo him or not!

don't do anything then.....just encourage your players !!

Another whining get on Humberside now, with selective memory problems. He's moaning about why the video ref wasn't consulted for the Gardner in touch issue. He (and the 2 dopey sods in the studio tbf) said this lead to a Huddersfield try, which is garbage. Broughton knocked-on on tackle 2 from the resulting scrum, so it had no effect on the score whatsover.

Talking of embarrassing fans. I was unfortunate enough to chat with a half cut 40 odd year old rovers fan who at half time.
Telling me about when he and his boys ran the "Warrington casuals" across car park and put 3 of them on their s before the police intervened.

Truely embarrassing.

Certain rovers fans need to get over the whole conspiracy thing. We had it earlier on the season especially with the drop goal incident. It doesn't do yourselves or your team any good. Just depresses you a little bit.

And for those having a dig at our away support. Crack on. We're a small group. But we are loyal.

You are, it's consistently the same group of you that go to away games.

I don't know why you bother to defend yourselves, it's not an issue.

In the main Rovers fans are a bunch of cocks. Very passionate, but drunken cocks all the same. I love my club, one of the reasons I go, particularly to away games, is to significantly increase the reasonable factor.

We're a very tribal bunch, I've got to admit I love it in the east stand when everyone is on it, it's a real sense of belonging and being part of something. I'm not from Hull, I'm from the coast, but Rovers have been my team since I was about six or seven.
I've lived away from the Hull area for longer than I lived there, but it's a connection to my roots and who I am.

I would never try and justify bad behaviour or hooliganism, and that's not what I'm doing.

I do think that many people change for that eighty minutes as fans and become someone and something else.
