At a stretch you could reconcile the potential lost revenue of £250k. The upfront cash of half a million is the confusing bit. I struggle to grasp the commercial agreement by which Rovers get a cash lump sum of £500k in a low margin arena like catering. Don't forget too that part of the revenue from the restaurant will simply be existing customers trading up a bit.

The £500k catering/brewery deal did sound like made up BS to me. Can't see any company stumping up £1/2m up front for potential future profits in the catering/pub sector currently

Does the current restaurant sell out every week? I'm not saying you won't sell both out every week, but some folk will simply be existing customers moving to the new one. For context, as Mild Rover would say, we have one restaurant at the KC, with big windows onto the pitch and a bigger fanbase, and it doesn't sell out.
