It's catching.
Quote pmh="pmh"I'm all for having a drink (although MM aside I rarely do at the rugby) and a laugh but being a foul mouthed drunken lout has no place in my life, if it started to get worse than it is I would have no problem contacting the club with my concerns.'"
Yeah, I can't see drinking in the afternoon and getting a dull-headache by half-time enhancing my rare trips to CP. Fair enough I can see why a social drink would appeal to some, but why anybody would want to get hammered there...

Christ, and now I've written "chamge" instead of "change" and [ithat[/i wasn't on purpose either.
That's it, wine o'clock.

| Quote dawn="dawn"True you do need a big heart to play the game, my husband played professional rugby and I have been involved in junior rugby for seven years, you have to be proud of all who play the game, the ones who slag the players off are the ones who have never played the game'"
Totally agree about the big heart, what people dont understand is the aches on the Monday morning even in amateur abuse stems from the touch line, playing the game is a sport and a lot of the people who do support KR are ex players of the game, it seems to be the football element creeping into our game, be good to have a inter supporter tournament though wouldnt it..

| Quote blakeysrobin="blakeysrobin"I came down for a beer at halftime from the west stand and couldnt believe the language and hatred from about 6 so called fans (2 were women with young children) stood in the well near the food and drink counter. The men were holding 2 beers each and clearly drunk and were calling Menzies all the names under the sun and imitting monkey noises when the cats 'shall we say' darkest player had the ball. A steward (on his own and about 18) went across eventually to calm them down (they didnt) but they should have been ejected for me.'"
I sent this post to my other half as he was talking about a group of 'fans' in the well when he came home from the match. This was his reply..
These are the ones who were hassling the stewards to let them outside into the car park at half time. Why? Well that's anyones guess because they were already having a fag where they were stood. And I can guarantee none of them had a car in the car park because they didn’t look like they had intelligence to learn to drive, plus they were all plastered. I suspect they were all going for a joint (or worse). They eventually got out into the car park by going back round and out of the main turnstile entrance, all of them, in one go walked off towards the trees near the South Stand. They all returned about 5 minutes later.
One of them I see at all home matches, he looks a bit like Chief Wiggum from The Simpsons but with stubble. He stands in the well next to the food and drink counter shouting his gob off, he thinks he's proper hard. I think he stands in that location because it's close to the chocolate, pies and beer. If these new additions to his clan are going to be a regular occurrence I can see trouble brewing around there.

| I've often found shouting and screaming at the players does little to help, telling them your not angry just disappointed tends to do the trick..
or is that kids you do that with..

I wish someone would tell mad Simon the Statistician that, I thought he was going to have a stroke at St's last season.

Thats them. Someone I know in his 50s usually stands right at the edge top row of the well. When I went down he was stood at the barrier under the radio room. He said it was because of these scrotes. Now it takes a lot to move him as he was a handful before heart trouble and if it was just the one he would have plugged him no problem but he didnt want the hassle with half a dozen. A disgrace to the club and I was embarressed for Menzies who being the professional didnt bite obviously. I would have.
I admire the young steward who went over but he should have sought reinforcements and kicked them out.
