He said 'rectifies' iirc. Changing the tense removes the possibility that he meant simply, that IHO, it'll be rectified passively - that is the mistake won't be repeated/compounded. Whichever he meant, I guess he'd be happy to leave it ambiguous - to avoid being wrong or it being a leak. If I didn't know better I'd say that you are, very elegantly, trying to make mischieve (sp?).

Interesting. "...he rectifies them." in this sentence could mean Justine is going to rectify the mistake, but could also mean she already has done so.

Present tense could mean past or future.

I just think GML likes to keep us all guessing.
