Just to be clear, I expect Tom Briscoe to be very good. Just because Welham may not be [ias good[/i doesn't mean he is not good. Constant comparison between players at the two Hull clubs is not the fairest or best way to judge them. I do it, of course, but if we binned all the players not good enough to get in the other's best 17, we'd be playing 9s. And you're good at 9s, so I don't want that.
I'm happy with Welham at Rovers.

They weren't breaks, they were him picking up loose balls and he got caught on one of them anyway despite the fact that the opposition had to turn around to give chase. yeaman is slug slow but he's still quicker than welham. Could you see welham going the full length evading tackles like Briscoe has proven he can? |

No Hull fan is disputing him as a decent enough prospect, just stating that some of teh rovers' fans' assessments are OTT |

Do you actually read the other posts? All off us, in one way or another have stated that although he's not a great player he's got bags of potential. I don't think thats being OTT.  |
