Rumour has it, Sio is heading back to SL, 2 clubs interested, KR must be one of them, one would think

I'm not so sure Rovers would be interested in any case we only have his agents word that 2 SL clubs are chasing.

Obviously Sio is a very good winger even though most of our fans wanted to convert him to a full back. (By the by... except that with Quinlan signed till 2020 that is surely not even a consideration now and anyway Sheens has said Dagger will start at FB))

So Sio would be an out and out winger and now that Hall has signed and with Shaw, Oakes and Wallis also contracted he would really be taking cap from more pressing areas.

Ken Sio had 2 great years at Rovers but we can't wait around our whole lives for him. We have had to move on and so has he.....our priorities have changed.

Sio would be an upgrade on anything we have. In fact he is an upgrade on any SL winger.He was superb for us and one of the few who left with no blame attatched to them for 2016.If possible I'd sign him no doubt.The likes of Thornley and Walker deserted us without hesitation.Sio and Mantellaro gave everything they had..Brilliant person brilliant player .Can we afford him?

Got to disagree with HB on this, I'd take Sio back in a heartbeat.

I've alluded to the fact on a couple of other posts I personally think we need a metre making winger to start sets properly, he was our top metre maker two years in a row.

He was a great finisher, and a great defender. All round top player. Imagine him of the outside of Vaivai it would be deadly.

It was also show intention, and be a good boost for season pass sales. With regards to affording him craig, we have just released 9 players surely we have cap to play with.

I would also have Sio back in a heartbeat. In addition to his qualities highlighted above he was fantastic in the air, both attack and defense. If Hall and Dagger are to be 2 of the back 3 I also agree we need a stronger kick returner to complement them. We have the cap, quota spot and, imo, need a winger. Not sure there are many other clubs that could also tick all three of those boxes. Add to the fact we have a prior relationship with him, I have to hope we are in for him.

TS says we are covered in outside backs.

For me, it,s a no brainer. We were "covered" for backs at the start last season. We got to the point where most of our starting backs were unavailable or crocked and we ended up in the qualifiers again. Sio is quality and would improve the squad and we need to improve. Quinlan probably missing all next season, not sure about Lunt, and injuries will happen. Yes, we need some forwards and I think a full back, but if quality becomes available we have to go for it.

TS is not signing a full back either.

Got to give Dagger a chance he’s good enough and Atkin can cover id rather sign Sio and another half than a full back

Lui,Sio ,Thompson.... All 3 would be great but reckon 1 or 2 of them will come onboard

League express reporting Sio on his way to Salford.
