Salter had the best game of his career up against Moon last year, he should be playing tomorrow. Craig Hall also has to be in the team because his goal kicking is far better than anyone else in the team. With this in mind I'd put Hall on the wing for Hodgson.
Hall's best spell for Rovers came at the back end of the 2011 season while he was on the wing so we know he is capable and his height offers something different out wide. Cockayne offers more than Hodgson as well IMO so warrants his spot.

leeds' back 5 looks very strong but their halfs aren't great and their forwards are getting on a bit so I think if rovers' forwards can get on top you have the beating of them

Home advantage is huge in this one, if we get our tactics right, we should be disappointed not to win.

Leeds rarely lose their first game of the season, but I think we have a real chance on Sunday.

I want to see a boring game, a war of attrition, I want to see us kick early and well, defend tight with good line speed and grind them down.

We need to shut them down at the ruck and make it a complete forward game. I want our second rowers jamming in and stopping any ball to their three quartets.

A nasty ugly game is what I want to see.

Not really, I just think you need an individual game plan for each game, and your opposition in ordeer to maximise your chances of winning.

We need to have a really simple game plan, if we win tomorow we'll, win because we get our defense right.

We've had far too many games against Leeds that have been cracking games of rugby league where Danny McGuire et al have sored in the last threee minute.

All about the points, I love free flowing rugby, but early season rugby is about getting points on the board, look at the table from the last nineteen seasons and after about ten rounds, there's very lttle movement in that five to eight lague that we'll be invilvd in.

What state do you think the pitch will be in, has it been used much over the off season?
