| At the risk of becoming a broken record, stop putting Graham bleeding Horne in the centre!
If Eden is out and we must tinker with the lineup I would go with this:
Latus
Hodgson
Hall
Salter
Caro
Withers
Dobson
Paea
Hodgson
Walker
Mika
Paterson
Griffin
Tuimavave
Cox
Ferguson
Carlile

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I'm with Mr. Zod and his hokey cokey selection policy with regards Withers, so despite who is or isn't in the nineteen, I'll go with.
Hodgson D., Brown, Heil, Salter, Caro, Hall, Dobson, Tuimavave, Hodgson J., Walker, Mika, Paterson, Griffin. Subs: Paea, Withers, Cox, Ferguson.

| Bemused as to why everyone has Mika down as an automatic selection. Not a consistent SL standard player for me. Causes the team more problems then he brings advantages ..

I think that's a bit harsh, but at the moment who would you play in front of him?
He's got talent, I think his main problem is a lack of stamina and a tendency to over play things on occasion.

I don't think its that harsh as he has now had a full season and 2 pre seasons under his belt. Well paid RL players should be showing somewhere towards their full abilities after that
The bloke has some great talent with the ball no doubt, in keeping with a lot of our players, however at least half of the game is about defending and for me Mika is a weak link in that department in the forwards. He looks to have that Kiwi trait of either mentally switching off when things don't go to plan or perhaps is just a little lazy/unfit (despite looking a fair bit lighter this year).
Jury still firmly out for me and he really does have to justify another contract.

Pretty much agree with all of that, he can put in a big clean hit in one set and in the next just trail an arm at someone as they burst past.
I don't think he's necessarily unfit, but I do think he lacks stamina. Sandercock certainly didn't spell him properly on Sunday, he was blowing for about ten minutes before he dropped that ball. I think Sandercock needs to accept that he's not an eighty minute player and use him accordingly.
Totally agree about him being a fair way off a new contract.

| Craig should spell Mika with Paea both can be destructive with ball in hand but having both on the field when defending we look vulnerable!

| I think Mika is starting to get a reputation that is totally unwarranted IMO (as far as this year goes anyway).
He was excellent in the friendlies against Wigan where he put in some murderous tackles and was really solid defensively and against Hull where he put in more big shots, was solid defensively and gave us very good go forward.
Last week he was our second highest tackler behind Josh Hodgson and I don't recall him missing a tackle. It's fair to say he appeared slow getting back after finishing his tackles last week but I heard he was still suffering from his groin injury which must have affected him.
His knock-on just before he went off was not his fault either. It was Withers' fault because he threw the pass at Mika's shoulder.
If any of you have hullkr.tv take a bit time to watch the first half against Catalans and I think you'll acknowledge that he didn't play badly at all because you see things a bit more for what they are rather than dealing with the tension and emotion of watching it live.

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |
|
| hall was training with dobson today so i think he might be at stand off and latus was catching bombs off dobson so i guess he might be full back as eden wont be risked although he was doing sprints so should be back next week

mika will lose his reputation when he puts in more than a 5 minute spell galea and newton played the full 80 every week

| Not as comfy as the scoreline suggests, we really had to work for that win, especially in the second half. Some absolute brutal hits been put in by both teams. Just one question though: Since when did Michael Dobson beome Australia's Kevin Sinfield (not for his playing, but for constant beefing towards the ref)?

I would be disappointed with him if he didn't, especially since seeing the playback this morning and the amount of 50-50 decisions that went against us, he is the skipper and has every right to query a decision.
