Out of interest why do you want him/rate him?

Reece Lyn has told Hull that he wants out. Havnt heard anything to suggest that Rovers are interested but he is young and British which fits in with our current signing criteria. Could Craig Sandercock make something of him?

I really rate Sandercock but this maybe to too much even for him. On the few times I've seen him he's being a joke tbh, Simply put he's Hulls version of Kevin Penny.

There'd be no harm having a look, but he's looked pretty poor when I've seen him (tbf - about twice). Still only 19.
From his POV, I think the best thing he could do would be to get a gig with with a championship team. Better prospects and, I suspect, better money than hanging around the under-20s at Hull or Rovers.

Two things Reece Lyne has in his favour are speed and guts, thats plenty for Sandercock to work on.

I have, Sheldon. I know Andy Last rates the lad and so does Radders.

IMO his confidence is shot, perhaps a product of big expectations and then Gentle experimenting with him at full back.

He's got pace and he's still very young but imo guts is the one thing he needs.

Still contracted for 2013, swap him for Watts.

I suspect Lyne might be a bit pee'd off with Russell coming in and a couple of his mates leaving the squad, he might get a run in the side with Sharp and Lineham injured.
