You're being a bit silly now. You said that the current squad + some astute signings could win more games which would mean challenging for Top 2. I'd say that's the definition of making "connections".
In terms of the (off-topic) "robust" business model at FC, I don't think it's fair to mock 6 years of profitability which was based taxation arrangements that, up to April 2011 were within the law and widely adopted across many clubs and sports, but have now been ruled retrospectively as attracting a tax liability. I'm sure your confidence that it's nothing to worry about from Rovers perspective is well-founded. Believe me, I'm grateful for Pearson's acquisition of FC and swift steps to resolve the tax issue. Otherwise it would have been a reasonable expectation that FC would have gone to the wall. |
