Fortunately for you so did the RFL.
edit - that doesn't quite work, does it? You know what I mean - Aaron Heremaia, dispensation, my deliberate hypocrisy, etc, etc.

| Quote Old_Faithful_IAKW="Old_Faithful_IAKW"Compared to yours they are. The quality of quota signings are obviously coming down but looking at who we've signed. Heremeia is one of the form hookers in the league form what I've seen, McKinnon was the West Tigers fans player of the season runner up - to Benji Marshall last year and Seymour, at 26, with over 120 NRL appearances is a good signing IMO - Dobson/Green/Chase were unknowns in the NRL and have come to SL and performed really well.'"
Doubt it he only played six matches in 2010 due to a hamstring injury [uGareth Ellis[/u was Wests player of the year in 2010. After been on the bench for several weeks Wade didn't make the 17 this week
Brett Seymour hasn't played since the end of June

| I could join in this pointless squabble about players who have yet to perform in this fair city, but I don't think I will bother. Lets face it, the likes of Dobson and Green have proven that previous doesn't count for a lot, Green in particular was seen as a never-has-been who was on par with Chaz I'Anson by some prior to his arrival. Similarly, I'm sure the lesser known lights bound for Hull and Rovers in 2012 will all come with points to prove.
Lets hope Missingtacklespapa (I thought I'd get it in before Hutchie turns up!) is a shrewd signing.

Still don't see how that works, mind. Either the RFL have given up completely or we've found some really obscure loophole.

Politics I reckon. Adam, enjoying his Blairite 'Things can only get better' honeymoon, rides in to Red Hall and points out how they bent over backwards to accomodate William Marshall Mason at Hull KR. As the leader of New 'ulla, he wants to sign an Aussie superstar to appease the masses, but Kath (who in this analogy is Kinnock), has already filled the quota - can they help him out? Given the new Third Way-esque entente cordiale between AP and NH (Brown or Ashdown, can't decide), Rovers might even have offered informal support.

| Who have you signed so far then for 2012? Talaupapa, Hodgson, O'Hara & Horne, any others?
You can't be happy with that surely?
You'll have a fair bit of cap space left, how many quota/non-fed places do you have available?
With a lack of decent OOC players, who do you think you'll realistically bring in?

Hodgson and O'Hara are stronger players then the ones they are replacing (Fox/Colbon and Vella) and their combined wages will be alot less then the players who have left. Horne adds depth to the squad and although the jury is still out on Taulapapa, I think he could turn out to be a very shrewd bit of business and make a bit of an impact next season. He has a bit of x-factor and aggression about him which we lack at times imo. So all in all pretty happy... [iSO FAR[/i......
