Rugby League is pantomime for the summer. Anybody who takes it more seriously than that, well shouldn't, to put it poloitely. IMO, of course.

The number of KuH people who are depressed or embarrassed by their club, and pay good money for the privilege, is shocking.

I can see why some people would lap those sort of comments up, but I don't see the need for it tbh.

I wouldn't say Hudge was an embarrassment to the club, he's a living legend for the work he's put in to get us where we are today, but if he's got some issues with the powers that be in regards to how both clubs are, and have been treated, he should be taking it up with them and not broadcasting it in public.

The general interest in the sport in this city has increased a lot since we got to superleague and both clubs benefit from the rivalry. Despite the best efforts of these forums, Hull and Rovers fans co-exist in the real world without a great deal of bad feeling, so those at the top should not be stoking the flames of animosity.

Agreed and look where that got us. If you are not concerned by the finances at Rovers you are burying your head in the sand.

I wish I was as "unprofessional" as him, setting up his own firm less than 12 years ago, and now with enough people working for him to allow him to devote more time to his passion.

Was he a fan of the legal profession? He clearly cannot seperate the two and keep a clear head when it comes to Rovers.

I must admit that it is a slight concern, but your comment that Hudgell is "unprofessional" is without any real back up, in sport he has taken a team from near closure to the best league in Europe and in his personal life runs a successful law practice. I wish i could be that unprofessional.
