I think it's a fair result.
We chose very different approaches, but I was happy with our entry, and impressed by your's.

Pity we were a week late for our original thought that we should take pictures of people enjoying the foods we selected at an actual game at Ausgrid - I think pics of fans at the Aus v NZ test match eating sausage rolls, pies etc and drinking beer from plastic cups would have been a winner.

Oh for Christ's sake, stop going on about bloody pies.

We love pies.
We actually have laws in this country that mandate how much meat has to be in a meat pie, and it's a national scandel when a manufacturer gets fined for not having enough meat in their products.
We have a couple of oveseas based posters, and when we put up pictures of pies they said they were dribbling on their keyboards.
I don't remember what your main was, but i'm sure you don't love it like we love pies.

Our meal blew your's out of the water, let's be honest.

Light hearted humour is the only reason you scraped a draw, that and the fact one of the judges didn't like Rhubarb. I wouldn't call your meal 3 courses at all, 2 at a push. The fact you have a photo displaying all 3 items together proves this.

A draw is best, we feel hard done by and ready to move on and your lot think you've done really well. You haven't, It was poor. But I hope you continue to perform at such mediocre level.

Their's contained a deal of self-deprecatory humour, which is something we're meant to appreciate. After doing something that was frankly brilliant (if not very back-compatible ), I understand how you feel. But as roopy says, they took a different approach. They have the advantage of experience and you still got a draw. Not bad.

What a load of garbage....Your menu was stupid and the Judges were even stupider! (apart from BG )....
Had we presented our food with a rugby theme we would not have drawn we would have lost because we had Leeds & Wigan fans judging!
