Good news for rovers fans if the cash turns up and any financial concerns disappear. Always worries me when people come in waving huge amounts of money when there is seemingly no chance of any return on that investment. Why would someone who has allegedly made a huge amount of money (and it must be HUGE if he is going to blow £15m of it) throw it away? Having said that, it's to be hoped the cash is invested in infrastructure and developing the important parts of club which will give financial stability away from any rich benefactor - this is certainly what i think pearson is trying to achieve at Hull and why I'd be worried if I were a fan of Huddersfield - you need a sustainable business model and not reliance on individuals to prop the club up.

I think this is the bit that's made so many sceptical.

Hull don't need to average anywhere near 14500 to break even. Pearson knows if they do he will be making a sizeable profit. Any cup finals we reach would significantly boost that

These figure were targets rather than being necessities.

As Kosh has mentioned, many are sceptical as anyone willing to put £15m into any RL club will know they are not going to see it return. If Larvin has. Spare £15m he must be seriously minted £100m+ perhaps? Yet before December know one had heard of him. There is then the alleged less than pure background (financially).

IF this cash comes into rovers and it's invested properly (finish off building the stadium, youth development, training facilities, debt clearance) then all power to rovers. All the press has been that £15m will be invested in to rovers, ie, not to buy out the existing owners. I just don't get where it would all go. Let's face it, once the North stand is completed, finish off the east stand. Not point in doing the south end as you'd need to see if gates would warrant it. Debt clearance would be biggest thing, £1m back to Allam, a decent chunk to Hudgel and Crossland. Training facilities, how much would need to be spent?

Conservative estimate, there would still be at least £7-8m left out of the £15m quoted.
