It's not a stretch of my imagination, it's my opinion that he's an average full-back who has in recent weeks started playing better. I'm also not annoyed or frustrated that he's moving on for that exact reason, as I said, good luck to him. I certainly won't be booing him and whilst he wears a Rovers shirt I will also support him, however I feel it's in the best interests of the team that IF we have plans in place to play someone who is already in the squad at FB next season, that player should play there from now on. That way they (and therefore the team) will be in far better position come the start of the season. IF the plan is to bring in another fresh signing at FB then fair enough, Shannon should clearly remain there. Just seems to make obvious sense to me.

If true I would play him on Friday night to give the fans their opportunity to vent their feeling towards this individual. I would then let him kick his heals in the 20's for the rest of the season. JUDAS !!!!!

Looked ordinary to start with but has shown great improvement over the last few weeks, well since stating he wasn't re'signing with us lol. Quite agree 70s. I also, never underestimate how parochial some people are.
Considering he got booed on the back of the news he had rejected a contract offer from us, to the news now he's FC bound. This news will be enough to send some of our fans over the edge. They'll be frothing at the mouth to vent their frustrations that one of ours has rejected us and is heading to them. The overall picture is lost on these people. I hope I'm wrong.
