I'd leave him well alone, even if fit he's not what he was. I'd rather play a youngster who would get better than an old fella who will get worse, he's not even a nice bloke.

10/12 weeks out, bad news for certain, but who do we see getting the nod to replace him?

I agree to an extent - but more injuries are a sad inevitability. When it's 2 or 4 weeks, then you can cover, and as one player gets injured another is generally due to return. When it's longer term, like Green and Galea that is thinning the squad.

I'd be happy enough to see Jordan Cox play a dozen games in a row - but if something happened to him, I think it would be beyond Aaron Ollet to do that at this stage in his development.

There's talk that Senior himself, will miss the start of the season. How many games in? If it's anywhere near 4, assess the injuries at that stage, if there's no more knocks, it's only 6/8 weeks and Galea is back.



Stay away from Senior, He's after a payday, naturally. Hope we're not the mugs to take the bait.

Heil, Salter, G. Horne, Hall (at a push) can all cover at centre if Welham or Webster get injured. I would not touch Senior with a bargepole. We can cover Green with Murrell or Hall, Galea with Cox, G.Horne or Lovegrove. Its not ideal, but far more easy to stomach than having KS rack up on our payroll.

Give Cox the chance to prove himself before making any rash decision.



Think Keith Senior should just take the Leeds offer on the table.

I'm sure he'll be able to prove his fitness this way rather than going down the Owen Hargreaves youtube way.

Yeah there's no point signing a player that isn't fit to cover injuries, I agree.



It's the ones after a [ifinal[/i pay day that are the bigger worry IMO - if Senior does okay somewhere this year its not beyond imagining that he could earn a deal for 2013.
