Candles? Candle power is a measurement more suited to spot intensity, not applicable with flood lights. If they choose to use 400w metal halide, they give off roughly 38k lumens, each. Wow.

Nowt to explain. The correct term in industry and science is "lamp". Just as the layman refers incorrectly to a singular cell as a battery or doesn't understand that certain methods of piling can be boring.
Or like Phil Webbo apparently doesn't grasp that his letter published today in the Wail lamenting the failure of the Government to consider the effect of the "bedroom tax" on those with disabilities, whilst rightly lauding the fact that Hull City Council "have spent millions adapting properties across the city to help meet the needs of disabled people" can only be construed as the epitome of irony. Or symptomatic of a short or selective memory, perhaps.
Anyway, back on topic - the North Stand. Potentially 1/3 or 2/3 risk to Hull Council Tax payers, Phil? (He appears to harbour shyness as one of his characteristics, too.) |
