Why wouldn't he? just because he said he would prefer playing doesn't mean he would turn down a coaching position within the club, especialy if it guranteed him a longer period at the same club as opposed to perhaps just one more year somewhere else as a player, he's already said that he will be very sad to leave Hull Kr, just my personal opinion of course.

If i was in charge of hull and actually wanted them to do well id of offered lovegrove a deal quite some time ago, id of scouted around for a good halfback but an experienced FB would be essential.

Let's be fair, most players have had a few better games than Crossman did. Even Lee Gomersall ... maybe not. Andreas Bauer wasn't the best of signings - esp as it was based purely on a few home videos or something (but needs must tho' then)

Clinton has had some good games for us. He's also had a few games where his attitude certainly has been questioned. With this questionable attitude ingrained within our fans, his good games are quickly erased. I doubt anyone would be too sad if/when he departs end of the season. He'll still need replacing tho'.
