| I think it's more likely to be Widnes than Salford in the middle 8's. Wouldn't surprise me if the final middle 8's table resembles the bottom of the final SL table.

| If we have Salford first game as is being touted then it's a fairly tough start.Just watched highlights of them v Leeds and hard to work out if Salford were very good or Leeds awful or a bit of both? They are a different team at home it seems so it's good they come here. For me Salford have better players than Widnes but not convinced they will win enough away games? There could be 2 Super league teams in MPG very easily and If we lose that first game we would be in peril.Leeds look in turmoil also so you just don't know? Interesting in a macabre way

Probably a bit of both Leeds having one eye on the semi final Salford look a lot better on paper than they seem to be performing the way we are playing we should be ok but you never know

| We’re a different beast with hastings in the sode compared to the one you played at your place last. He was only on for 20 minutes and scored a try, set up 2 others and ran the length of the pitch twice. God knows what he’ll do in that 80 but we’ll defintley show more spark then we did a few months back. We’ll also have new hooker Joey Lussick debuting who’s just as elusive. You did very well against Hull so i wouldnt be too suprised to see us and you 1 or 2 either way.

| TBF If we're still in SL come mid October, I won't care how we did it.
Leeds remind me of us two years ago. Fairly confident but no run of form to prove it.
Toronto remind me of Leigh three years ago. Over confident with a chance they might choke in the big games.
Widnes not done enough to avoid relegation. Their late signings were average.
Salford might have done enough for signings and tgeir form at the moment is more good than bad. The concern is finances rather than on the field.
Toulouse might be tougher than we think.
Halifax deserve respect and could hurt us if we get over confident.
London are similar to Halifax in terms of respect we need to show them.
My guess for the standings (and I'm generally rubbish at this) based on form....
Rovers
Salford
Toronto
Toulouse
Leeds
London
Widnes
Halifax

| Toulouse with only 3 home games have a tough task.
Nobody will roll over and any game can be tough. Just got a feeling at the end of it all all 4 Super League teams will retain their place.

Bold? I think he's been sniffing glue again!
As shi-ite as Leeds have been there's no way they'll finish 5th.

1. I did say I was pretty rubbish at this
2. It's based on current form.
Leeds are probably dead cert to beat Halifax, London and Widnes. The rest look more difficult and on current form they'll struggle. 6 points will only get you into the MPG as the away team. Even 8 points guarantees an MPG slot but still maybe not at home.
We know this more than most as we are now veterans at it, being in every single flipping m8s competition and have seen it from both directions.

| Sinfield in his interviews uses the word 'culture' in his interviews a lot. As we know culture doesn't happen overnight. He also seems suggest the problems run deep within the squad. So upon reflection Leeds look like us from '16 destined for the MPG

They’re unlikely to have the bad luck we had in 2016.
Put it this way - if you were in a sweepstake for the number of games Leeds players will miss in the 8s through suspension, I guess you wouldn’t be too disappointed with drawing ‘0’.
