I thought eden did ok barring his customary headfart losing the ball. Looked far better one on one than cockayne does and could do little to stop the cross field kick tries. The scoring with width was just a symptom of fatigue within our defensive line.
not sure of the stats but Burns slipped off tackle after tackle, not sure how a full back can help that. Pryce used his head, kept the quick play up and targetted our weaknesses.

Not sure what people watch or want to see but it certainly seems some players faults get highlighted whereas others get ignored. For all cockayne offers hes been at fault for a lot of the tries scored against us in recent weeks, but he gives 100% and all that.

Very happy with the team last night, Cats are a good side & Rovers were a bit under power. Not worried over Caro he is learning & the more he plays the more he will improve, I would be worried if he makes the same mistakes come the end of the season. I am unsure about Eden he is a talent & can do things on the run that others can't I am not sure the rest of the team are geared up to play around him. I wonder if he could develop into a loose forward given time? I also felt he was left exposed a couple of times by other players dropping off tackles. They have a week off now to work on their game & recover from a hard start to the season. I think we will be around 7th or 8th come September which for this year is about right, if we don't have wholesale changes next year should be OK.

Thought Eden grew into the game, after a very shaky start. Not really sure if we're better with him or without tbh. We look miles better with him in attack but he can and does make inexcusable mistakes too frequently.

Caro looked a bit unsure of himself. Hopefully he'll just continue to kick on and not go into his shell. Disappointing the effort didn't equal any points in the end, but a very commendable shift was put in by the lads, in testing circumstances.

Positive word for Bentham too. I thought he handled the game fairly well tbh, in as much - he could've penalised us a lot more (warning/sin bin etc) for persistently hanging on/not clearing the ruck. Think he realised that the Easter programme had taken it's toll, and let a lot slide at the play of the ball.

we were constantly lying on and got away with it a lot yesterday. it was a good effort in difficult circumstances.

Don't think Bentham did us too many favours, thought quite a lot went against us tbh. Nice touch from VR Thierry as well to stick his oar in & reverse one of the few decisions that went our way. No complaints in the end though, Catalans deserved the win.

Unusual to see 5 sides winning both Easter games, but all of them had one of their fixtures against the bottom 3. Still virtually impossible to front up for 2 tough games in 4 days.

You can't say that. I got called all sorts for daring to suggest it. I've commented on the Hull board in recent weeks that refs have suddenly gone from their early season penalise everything mentality to ignore everything. Very apparent in our games against you and hudds and your game yesterday. I think rovers did well to be anywhere near catalans in the end and the stats show how dominant they were despite the penalty count going against them

No, I have a season pass at the KC but can't be assed with away matches any more as we lose a lot. I wasn't sure if that was penalties awarded or conceded to be fair but still the clean breaks and the metres made shows catalans dominance. Thought eden saved you on a number of occassions. He did make a couple of errors but certainly was far from your worst player yesterday. I also think caro struggles a lot more because his centre is generally nowhere to be seen when the attack or kicks come their way
