I would agree with much of what's been posted on here. At Hull FC he was the only organiser and all of the creative play came from him which was why Yeaman and Raynor scored so many tries and made the GB squad but at Rovers he's playing second fiddle to Dobson.

He was the stand out player at Hull but he's not at Caravan Park and consequently I don't see how he's as valuable to you guys as he was to us and I reckon probably hasn't been a good investment on the pitch.

Well i think mr Cooke will be going to Wakey on a four year deal with Broughie coming our way.

No way would 'we' offer a 4 year deal......dont do that as a club, let alone on a player like Cooke.......but yes, he could be at wakey next year....maybe a 2 year deal at best though!

Given they have only 2 years on the current licence that would make sense.

TBF people close to Cooke from both sides of the city said as much at the time of his signing, so it's hardly [iunfounded[/i speculation.

As Kosh says, lots of people have spoken about this in the past. A lot of money, time and repuation was risked on Cooke by both clubs and you have to wonder if as a player he was ever worth it.

What do you want or need with Broughie? He is an organiser and hasn't it already been proved too many Cooke's spoil the broth!!

I was sorry to see Cooke leave F.C. I wonder if he quite expected the amount of flak he got for it. It must have affected him a little bit I presume.The one good thing that has come out of it ,is he has kept both Hull forums bubbling over nicely for eons.

I thought KR only got a C grade? That means you have 2 years of certainty left if true. Hull FC for example hold an A grade, and you can only be downgraded by one grade per assesment.

I think it was Cooke who actually kept Rovers in Super League in their promotion and so has paid back anything he was given when signed tenfold bearing in mind S.L. money / Sky money etc.

And a free signing to boot.
