| Another top class display from the man today. His partnership with the league's top scrum half is certainly coming to fruition.
* I wish JM would tell him kick for touch more and drop outs though *

He tends to take the distance kicks for touch now which is what a lot of us on here wanted and he gets good distance. Nothing wrong with Dobson's drop-outs, don't think Cooke could have made more than 50 metres.

| Cooke should be taking Kickoffs though, every side we play gets to the 30/40 metre mark, dont know if hes been told to kick shorter to we close them down quicker but surely we should be aiming to kick into there 10 at least?

| Its getting good when we can argue who is the most effective kicker from our top form half back pairing
FWIW, Dobbo kicked catalans to death yesterday with his field kicking and had another brilliant day for conversions but Cooke was my MOTM controlling play and his deft kicks through to the line caused panic in their defence.

| Alright Girls n Boys. My first post on rlfans.com so go easy on me.
I totally agree about Mr Cookes performance yesterday. He looked good.
Yesterday showed off a few good performances though. Cooke and Dobbo were again outstanding. Jake Webster was awesome, Liam Colbon runs the ball in exceptionally well. But, for me the one player who should be first on the team sheet every week is Ben Galea. The lads work rate, tackling, running, distribution is second to none. He is our unsung hero. A great try from him yesterday rounded off another impressive performance.
Well played Benny.

| I really thought Murrell stood out aswell yesterday, fantastic work in defence, I remember a 40/20 in the first half and capped off a fine display with a very good try.

I thought so too, stood up just after half time (if I remember correctly) and put a great shoulder in on one of the catalan's players and that seemed to fire us up again. I find more often than not, when the team look a little jaded or teams are getting on top of them, Murrell comes up with something to lift the lads. Added to that, Murrell has always been a good kicker and put in a fine display of it yesterday, plus he seemed to have gained some go faster stripes for his try! Well done Scotty!

| In the spirit to which this tread was intended, Paul Cooke certainly seems to be producing some good form again. Partnership with Dobson going from strength to strength, seems to be sorting his head out off the field as well and looking fitter than I have ever seen him in a Rovers shirt.
Keep up the good work Paul!!!!!!!
