That's the last time I read Mr. McFlurries blog, and even if I do, I won't laugh on principle.

I may have neglected to mention that in the last two 'survivor' contests, the most light hearted entry has won nearly every round.

The vanilla slice blew you guys out of the water, they could not have picked a better dish, its like they read my mind. Likewise you could not have picked a worse pudding than rhubarb, as one who was tortured at primary school in the 1960s by rhubarb crumble and that whole thing about "Is it apple, is it apple, is it, uuuurgh its rhubarb" when you're handed your pudding plate by the dinner ladies, you brought back all the wrong memories.

The ambience ?

Roadside caff, sat in the sun facing the Danny Buderus stand, drinking beer, eating vanilla slice, hmm, where was the other one again ?

The task was to come up with a 3 Course Meal..
So we have clarified that you prefer a vanilla slice to rhubarb, fair call..
However a sausage roll and meat pie and you judge the competition as a draw..

You are either a Leeds or Wigan fan....

So what you are saying is that this is not really a competition as it was initially portrayed but just an excuse to mess about...now I understand why you have a load of 20 yr olds on our team.

I really hope we lose now and I get voted off because I have better things to do than mess around like this tbh.

I don't know how it will play out here, because it seems there is a culture difference, but on our message board people wanted to have a lot of fun with this, and 'serious' did not score well.
Most of the tasks were judged by other board members, and it really came down to who could 'entertain' the judges, and 'humerous' was what they wanted.

So basically the task was to think of 3 foods that will appeal to judges and amuse them and not a 3 course meal ?

Well we started out by trying to work out what might appeal to the judges - decided they would be League fans - and chucked in as much League culture as we could as well as humour. But when we heard the judges were foodies we weren't too confident about our strategy.

Yeah, it's pretty much an excuse to mess about. It was up to you to please the judges, not the other way around.
And you're winning! Could have been worse - BG had even more difficulty getting your presentation to work than me and almost gave it to Newcastle as a walkover.
