The worst feet burn is off sand.

Used to have a job at a water sports place in the South of France, (got severly repremanded for forgetting the mast off a boat after too much vermouth at the Noilly Prat distillery) really annoying that you'd want to go around with no shoes but the sand was too hot.

This time sat in front of a till all day.

I worked in the photo dept at Mount Pleasant for a year or so when I first went back to work inbetween having the boys. I occasionally worked on the checkout, I used to hate having to ask, "do you want any help with your packing?". There would always be a lazy sod who would say "yes" & then just stand there & watch me do the lot, one lady went ballistic at the way I'd packed everything, bet she didn't ask for help again
