Looks like it's been a brilliant success already then. Although when you think about it, by definition demand will have been "unprecedented", because this is the first year the scheme's been run.



The compelling nature of the derby ticket offer is somewhat undersold in this article IMO. Pay £60 now to get £10 off in over a year's time - "amazing" isn't superlative enough.

If they can't afford to pay for everything why don't they just spend less on the squad and build up gradually like evryone else has. Big problem with scrapping the 50% of income on players rule in the salary cap. Probably why so many teams are now running at a loss

British Rail are planning a membership scheme, a large wedge upfront now in exchange for no fare rises next year plus a once only £5 off a pork pie & cup of tea, and an additional £5 off a scone & coffee !!!

Hull City Council are introducing an upfront payment scheme of pay £200 now and they will not put up your council tax next year, including priority bin emptying, stronger street lights outside members homes, and discounts in Hull Tourism shop, ALSO an amazing £5 off a "it's never dull in Hull" t-shirt !!!
