Hanbury sounds plausible. We’re only another injury to Danny McGuire from being in the icky stuff going into the 8s, and he’d be a realistic additional option for the halves.
Hardly exciting, but potentially helpful.
Hall, more likely than not imo, is his agent looking for leverage. The lad is not going to miss out on a gig for 2019, come what may, but you’d think he’d want to know where he stands sooner rather than later. he won’t want risk having to sort out squeezing into somebody else’s cap at short notice if we go down. Be superb if we could get him though - it’d be the best signing prospectively since I don’t know when. We could do with one that changes perceptions.

| They're actually mentioning Hanbury to you on the Widnes forum, so possibly something in it.

I see watts dad has had some sage words over Shrek Taylor? I agree fully. Sloth from the Goonies is decent back up same as Chav Connor. Won't get near the international 17 when all are fit..Rightly so

| Can’t say I agree with Taylor getting in over Luke Thompson Luke Thompson has been the best prop by far this year deserves a spot.... and Conner is a prick can’t stand him but he probably right putting him in the England starting 17 on form won’t be a starting player for me but be good as a utility back on the bench to come on a change the game

Yes Jake and it’s strange that both at one time played for us at the time we had bad coaching

I like Mulhern a lot and he's got great potential, but he's not at Taylor's level yet.
Also, we'll likely now have to read a response from Jake about how if Mulhern does approach that level, Hull will sign him. And maybe suffer being 'offered' Ross Osbourne as a makeweight.

| I would be delighted if you took Hanbury off our hands After a few good seasons with us he has consistently been our worst player and has a terrible attitude! We call him TV Rhys here on the terraces here as he only shows up when he is on TV! His reported massive contract could be a lot better spent elsewhere for us, He also spends a lot of time on the injury table.

If he gets to Taylors level (Which is is way off yet, as Taylor has played consistently at a high level for the last 5 years plus, not half a season like Mulhern), then i'd expect him to follow Taylors lead and move to a club to compete for honours.
