30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Can't even remember him, best Rovers player with a girls name...
Tracey Lazenbey (apologies for more than likely spelling his name incorrectly) bonkers.

There was a story (probably not true) that we signed Lindsey Johnson by mistake and in fact it was Peter Johnstone who we wanted and did sign in the end Lindsey spent nearly all season in the A team

| I like that tale, it's true from now.
I can tell, we share a common love of Rovers rubbishness, we had to, to survive the nineties.
The only reason for going was for the gallows humour.

How much were we paying Clinton?

I'm just going on what other supporters who know what every player earns down to the last penny say and it was a lot

STAN i agree that list is good David Mills what a donkey and the rest Are rubbish But i still think Tilse is crap and pinching money but if he is still here next season and plays well I will eat my hat

| I don't think he's as bad as everyone is making out. Walker has been equally as bad since his 'issues'. As Sandro says tho he's not good enough for a quota spot.

High profile bookie Joel Caine tells the story of coming to Sydney for a trial with another kid named Danny Buderus. Caine was signed on the spot and couldn't work out why he kept getting named at hooker in games. Eventually the coach took him aside and showed him footage of his trial to ask him why he wasn't doing the same things, and the coach had got the numbers wrong and thought he was Buderus.

| I'm in the anti Tilse clan, he's a plodder thats all, even in his outstanding CC cup games he was only really average IMHO, his big offload game hasn't appeared and he doesn't get into full stride before he's tackled.
A poor rash decision signing IMO

| Think a few are being a bit harsh on tilse, good tackler,no frills and in his days with canberra had a decent offload, but I do agree for a quota spot I would hope we had signed somebody who offered a bit more impact than tilse, who is basically a steady eddie.

| Green and Greenwood made all the difference today. God knows what's happened to walker but he looks s show of the player he was
I'd look to get greenwood signed if possible.

| Re Tilse, for me he is absolutely bang average. He's far, far from the worst we've had in SL, but when you consider he was a replacement for Weyman it's so far been a poor comparison.
Maybe with a pre season and being more settled over here he'll come good. You don't play as many NRL games as he has done if you're a bad player

I feel Walker started well, but made little to impact in his second spell. Greenwood seems to be getting better with each game he plays. I'd be happy if we were able to get him for next year

| The expected post cup final shocking performance , but a wins a win.
If we up our energy levels , maybe freshen up the team a little , we should have too much for Bradford and guarantee our place in SL next season.

| Greenwood had his best game for us today. Green also played well, have to agree about walker though, he seems to slow and spin into tackles to look for the offload then gets creamed.
It was a bitty grind of a game today, with our blushes saved by their kicker having an off day. To be fair to wakie their forwards were dominant for large periods, and Locke is a class act.
