Give over man, the world and his dog knows he will play and I suspect that Leeds won't care either way. It's insulting to our intelligence to play this game in the media.

| I heard Chester say he is unlikely to play on RH, if he does play he will make himself (Chester) look a bit foolish.

My instant reaction was to laugh as the MAXIMUM expected time out for a grade 2 LCL tear is 4-8 weeks. Every single online resource agrees on that. The last game of the middle 8's is 8 weeks after the semi.
Let us not forget that this is the LCL injury that allowed Kelly to not only finish the game without limping but it allowed his kicking game to continue and caused him so little problems that he felt the need to try and drop a goal when the semi was won and safe.

If Rugby League Rocks, then Hull KR is its Soul.: |
|
| I heard the Chezzie answer to the question on injuries and the - "will Albo be fit in 2 weeks time?" question, driving home from the game today. Classic media straight bat response technique. "I'm giving nowt away, just in case I end up with egg on my face."
Albert Kelly will play at Wembley - Fact!!! Whether 75% fit or not.
Let's face it, we need him and if you were in his position you wouldn't want to miss out on the Wembley occasion, probably the biggest showcase of his talent to date and the biggest game of his career to boot.

| Spoke to Albert after the game and he wouldn't be drawn on his chances of playing at Wembley, but did say he had outer and flex movement which usually indicates over the worst.
I hope he makes it because he is something special.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| He'll play.
I have to go to the game in a wheelchair as I've donated my ligaments.

| speaking to an ex player this afternoon and he said Kelly has had a small op and they are hoping he may be fit in time for the final.
I don't know the ins and outs of the situation but I guess we will know more over the next few days.

Surely, unless your part of his medical team and you know this to be absolutely true then this is actually just opinion until the event occurs? Or is it a case of putting 3 exclamation marks after the word "fact" means its indisputable?

| If Kelly is even just 80% fit then it's got to be worth putting him in surely? Start with Kelly and Chisholm in the halves, move Blair to his best position, if it becomes apparent that Kelly has to come off then move Blair back to his current position. Only downside is we lose a rotation, but in a cup final I'm sure (or would at least hope) that adrenaline will make up for that. Plus, if he makes it through 60+ mins, then we haven't really lost a rotation anyway.

| I think the reason why Rovers are playing mind games over whether or not Kelly will play is due to the modern day concept of coaching. Today coaches have different game plans depending on who they are playing and the best way to deal with different styles of play and different individual players ......Keeping Leeds guessing on whether or not kelly will play causes them to focus on two different game plans instead of focusing all their attention on one.
Personally, I don't think it matters either way, but this is how modern day sport is technically coached so any disruption to preparations may give Rovers an advantage ......After all, we all know how Leeds are going to play (Fantastic free flowing rugby that is a joy to watch), but a Rovers team with Kelly in it or not in it have two very different styles of play ......Keep 'em guessing, Rovers!
