We have been burned repeatedly and recently. I'm not going to make a moral issue out of his drug ban, but he showed very bad judgement. He messed Wigan around, he messed Parramatta around and now, after getting chucked out of the England WC squad, he's messed Salford around. Extreme cases apart, everybody deserves a second chance, but there's a limit and I'm not keen to see Rovers added to the list of clubs Hocked about. The ref shoving, is the clincher. Without that, I'd maybe think a loan deal, with no fee and a return option, mightn't be so bad. But as it is, there's no point fretting over discipline if you're going to sign somebody notorious for lacking it. |

Your post seems fair enough to me. I'm no apologist for Hock. I just think people over react with him. This is rugby league not university challenge after all. It's a game played by people who enjoy hitting people and who enjoy getting hit!
Hock is a bloody good player. If he comes I think you would love him warts and all.

You're more than welcome.
Hock has talent, and he's capable of doing stuff that'd rouse a crowd that have little enough to cheer of late. He just stuffs up way too often - unfortunately. |

My Unicorn snagged it's horn in the chicken wire fence I erected at the bottom of Terrorist Towers.
This led to the Evil Ginger departing.
She will not be returning. (This is the bit that I know isn't happening, as per the requisite of the story).
Luckily, this led to a Brahmin bestowing his/her (I always get confused at this point) his/her glorious bounty of a new Ms. Terrorist. Yet to be introduced.
