Alright then. Which decisions in particular did you think were incorrect?

This is a wind up right?
Clearly Lovegrove gave Shaul the ball. In no way was Shaul trying to get control of the ball to stop him scoring. That's what happened. If you slow it down enough you can see Rhys pass a note to Shaul as well apologising for his attempt to score.
If Miller hadn't slipped on his own faeces having soiled himself looking at the oncoming defender rather than the ball Burns wouldn't have attempted to murder him as Silverwood saw it. Clearly Burns should have stood still and allowed Miller to hit him.
Miller looked like a rabbit in headlights all night. Burns terrified him.
The Costigan try I'll need to see again. I saw no touch from Hall.
Welhman's try. Caro may have been off side but I have never seen a score disallowed for that ever. What a spot from the officials. Incredible for Child to spot that off side when he saw no others all game.
Hull should have won by 30 given all that help but failed.
Rovers getting better and better. No Eden Hodgson Ulugia Keating Walker bros Langley Carlise last night.
Favourite moment from last night Cox twirling Houghton around and throwing him about like a dad with an infant daughter.
Heard Gareth Ellis has signed for Hull. When does he turn up?

| Yep just seen your post.
Quote: Rupert Pupkin "Totally agree!
How on earth was Bowdens try allowed after the NFL style pass from Watts? Yeamans pass to the binman to was also questionable in my mind!
VR an absolute joke, nothing wrong with the Costigan try off the palm back and Burns and Miller was just a collision at speed and they was just the big decisions. Rhys over the line was a strip, seen clearly be everyone, Welham tackled in the air, FC penalty, tbh you could go on when really you shouldnt be. The players deserve the credit and thats what we should be talking about but once again the officials are a complete bunch of incompetent fools.'"
The forward pass I fully agree with, but that's not a video ref error. The tackled in the air was very close, I actually thought Welham might have had one foot down, but either way, that's not a video ref error either.
Watch the "palm back" closely. Hall gets his hand in between Whiting's hands. He gets the first touch, then it hits Whiting and he drops it. In that situation you have to give a knock on against Hall, you couldn't tell what direction it was travelling in.
The shoulder charge one I wouldn't have complained about, but then if you go to the letter of the law it is a shoulder charge. If Burns had got his arms around him then it wouldn't have been an issue, but he tucked his elbow by his side and hit him with the shoulder. Whilst I'm on that subject I don't think it was a try anyway, looked like a double movement and/or a drop over the line, but I guess we'll never know now.
The stolen over the line one I was surprised went our way. But watch where Shaul's hands/arms where as they were falling to ground, it's very hard to steal a ball in that position. It looked to me that the ball jarred loose as they hit the deck, and Shaul picked it up off Lovegrove's chest. There wasn't really a definitive angle, but Child obviously thought it was lost and he was in the perfect position.
Rovers deserved to win by more, but that was due to them being the better team, not due to video ref mistakes.

You can go over them with your view as much as you want, the decisions I mentioned I believed where wrong and pretty much the whole SKY team agreed with them. Plenty on the VT also thought we was really hard done to! I honestly cant believe some people agree with the VR, it is ruining our game, they cant get simple decisions correct!

Fair enough, you have your opinion, I have mine.
If I was in charge of the RFL the first 2 things I would do are scrap the 40/20 rule (absolutely hate it, just punishes good defence and bails out a team who have done a poor exit set) and scrap the video ref. Not only is it unfair that it's only at one game per round, but it slows the games down too much. I wouldn't mind if it was just there to remove the glaring errors, but most of the time they seem desperate to find something wrong with even the most obvious try. No video ref would have probably seen us lose by more last night, but I don't care, I'm fed up of it.

| No-one put on report but I bet a one or two will still get cited. Wouldn't be the RFL if not.

| The decision to disallow the try because Caro was offside was a correct one, as much as it pains me to say
The alleged stripped ball incident was inconclusive so you have to go with the ref.
I agree that Hall did touch the ball first, but as he had his back to the Hull line and paddled it towards his own
hitting Whiting's hand on the way it is therefore a knock on by Whiting and the try should have stood.
On the Welham incident he was takled in the air, that is allowed in the in goal area as a defending team, but this was outside, I have watched it again and he was in the air, he also landed on his back without his arms or ball touching the ground so it should have been play on.
Houghton's try did touch down.
Whiting didn't touch Burns drop kick.
Watts pass was forward.
Travis and miller coming together was a collision nothing more, both players turned their shoulders in, more to protect themselves, this incident is just my opinion the others are factual.

Burns stupid elbow will definitely be reviewed, that said he copped one in the face leading up to it, but retaliation is retaliation and he's likely to get 1 game.

Hall touched the ball before Whiting. It was a shoulder charge. The stolen over the line one was hard to call but since the ref thought it was play on then you have to stick with his decision. The only one the VR got wrong was the drop goal which never touched anyone.
Child got some decisions wrong, I thought the pass to Bowden was forward for example. But all the decisions that got sent upstairs were correct imo.
Tbh I'm getting sick and tired of fans (and I'm including Hull fans) thinking there's some agenda against them. It's pathetic.'"
I'm fine lad, seems your the upset one after being given an advantage and not winning.

Scrap the 40/20 rule? anyone would think it led to a try! oh wait a minute.
If it had been the other way round you would have be hailing it as a great piece of play, you may change your mind if your endless search for a decent halfback ever comes to an end.

I think that's a fair summary.
The reason I'm banging on about the decisions being mostly right isn't because of club bias, or that I think Hull were badly done to, or that I disagree that Rovers should have won by more. It's just that I'm fed up with fans who think the RFL are somehow trying to screw their team over every time they get a 50/50 against them. Can't people be grown up to take a step back and think, "well I don't agree with that decision, but it was a difficult one to judge and the ref has just called it how he saw it?"
And Hessle Rover you have an enormous chip on your shoulder. I am disappointed to lose, but I can admit that you outplayed us and deserved to win my much more than 1 point. I just happen to have a different opinion to you on a few decisions.

I just can't stand the rule. I have been wanting it gone from the game ever since they brought it in. I think it's a gimmicky rule that punishes a strong defensive set.
