Am I alone in being underwhelmed by this new addition?. Why are we running an academy if we don't promote our young players? Ulugia might well be a great prospect but if he turns out OK he will be back off to the NRL & we will be looking again. I would sooner go to the lower league & give a British lad a go. I wish the lad well but surely there must be a winger/centre good enough for our squad.

You talk about him going back to the nrl but remind me were Scott Taylor rich Beaumont and if were led to believe Jordon Cox are just because there home grown doesn't mean they will stick around

Last tache I saw like that was in Bugsy Malone.
Unless this kid is one of Bertie Wooster's mates it has to go.
He should go for Watkinson and Broadhurst´s look which was modelled on Carlos The Jackels. |

Hopefully he stays on the straight and narrow and does his talking on the pitch, his pace seems rapid! If he can fulfil some of this proposed potential then we may have good pace options on the left and right of our attack

It is disappointing that they go but if we had had faith in them they would have been on longer contracts with built in improvements as they progress. If they moved on we would have got a fee. I am not against overseas players as they have always brought interest to the game but we need top players with star appeal or true professionals who bring skills to the club to teach our young players. As I have said I wish him well but for me give a Brit from the lower leagues a go or promote from our academy. |
