Undoubtedly, finding touch frequently will be important for us. Where those 3 are your strength on kick returns, they are a weakness from high kicks.

Wich Rovers turn up? If they play at near their best they will win by 20 points, but with young kids in the side a derby atmosphere with a hostile crowd any result is on the cards. I just want the result to be decided by good play & not mistakes by either side or bad refereeing. As a rovers fan I want to see a good Rovers side beat a good FC side.

as a rovers fan i will take any kind of win in a derby. it adds to the banter if it's on the back of a bad reffing decision, FORWARD!!!!

I dissagree Rovers have been brilliant at times, just that the times have been measured in seconds, put in 50 or 60 minutes & they are up with the best. But its a derby play rubbish & the victor won't care.

The more I think about yesterday's game the more confident I am.
If you think about the tries we conceded last night, the first came from Hodgson losing the ball behind his own try line from an off the cuff play. The second, a quick bit of sleight of hand from Chase and a short (and very far forward) pass that bamboozled Hall. The third, similarly Chase was too good and fired out the phase ball that created an overlap. And the third actually came from a good Rovers scramble to shut down their last tackle option. Again Tansey comes up with a kick that were it not for a terrible wind and a fortuitous bounce, would have been easily defended.

Structurally we weren't too bad last night and were it not for a few moments of Chase magic and a couple of lapses of concentration/bad strokes of luck, it's hard to see how Cas would have scored.
Do Hull have anyone who can open up our defence like Chase?
If we stay disciplined and cut out errors in our own half we should have more than enough for Hull without Holdsworth.

I`m a little worried by Ganson being in charge tbh, He has been a little too inconsistent this year....

as for a game prediction..personally i`m gonna wait till game day to see what`s what.... team and weather being the two main factors...

2.45 - it was switched with the Wigan v Saints game a few weeks back.

Its all about game management, the team who decides to be sensible and turn the other around will win it. Unfortunately I think Hull will be forced into that more than we will and it will tell in the end. We have a pair of good creative halves but at time they can be really dumb, usually after scoring the opening try. This is often a forced pass or stupid play when just getting to the kick is the sensible play. It’s the sort of game a player with James Websters brain would see us win at a canter.

I’ll go FC by about 12.
