| It's all too easy to blame a perceived lack of intensity on a lack of homegrown players but IMO it's irrelevant.
What would make Kris Welham, a Hull fan as a lad, want to give more than an Aussie?
It's a job at the end of it all, they get paid to play well and I've never yet met a sportsman who doesn't want to win every time he takes the field.
Questioning desire and effort is wrong IMO. Intelligence and concentration however...

| Maybe his heart wasnt in it but that's a different thing entirely to going out on the field and not giving 100%.
There is not one player who would go out and deliberately play poorly or worse than they know they could. To even accuse players of doing so is naïve IMO.

| Definitely gave 100% tonight or we would not have hung on to beat Cas in an error strewn performance.

| Eden gets a lot of unfair criticism IMO. Just his errors seem to stand out more then others, like the spiral bomb he didn't take and led to a try, but very good under the umpteen others that went up. He gets criticised for running across the line but rangi chase does this exact same thing and the reason for this is because they're looking for openings and gaps. Did ok in harsh conditions tonight.

Generally perhaps, but he was poor tonight. Everybody has the odd off day, but we have a few who have them too regularly. Got away with it tonight, but it was closer than it should have been due mainly to errors and he was most culpable in that regard.

| I agree he was poor tonight, but what really annoys me is how people go on about him carrying the ball in one hand! If people watch the game then they would see every player carries it in one hand, he just carries it further away from his body.

Our right edge tonight was a bit poor think salter will be back in for the derby hope Craig hall is ok looked like a knee problem, travis burns apart from his attempts at goal kicking (wind or not was er lets leave it at that lol) needs to give them duties to Patterson or hally, can see us beating FC but that's it over the Easter break

Hall should be dropped for salter, very poor defensively in a crucial position.

| Couldn't disagree more about dropping Eden. He's a confidence player so dropping him will do no good at all. Apart from that, who would play at full back?
He was exposed to some horrible kicks tonight because of the swirling wind. Lets not scapegoat players at all never mind when we win.
