He's not a goalkeeper, the FB doesn't fit into defensive line structures. His game is about positional sense, decision making, diffusing kicks and getting momentum into the counter set. Now, I know who's better at all those things.
Your fans can claim he's on extortionate sums of money, but that depends on budgets. By the same token we could say he came across on a one year deal to put himself in the shop window for a better club and succeeded. |

But he didn't sign for wire/Wigan/Leeds/saints so in my eyes he hasn't signed for a better club |

point 1 an extortionate sum of money has no corrolation to budget if your extorted your extorted and he took a small salary at rovers to put himself in the shop window for a large contract, you offered the largest hed have been at cas if they offered the most, mans a mercenary and thats his choice short career and all that but dont kid yaself he chose you cos ur a big club lol now toddle off and talk nonsense somewhere else |

I never said 'big' club did I darling? No, I don't think I did.
Not many Aussies come all the way round the world for a one year deal and he wasn't offered that much more from Hull, so you go on thinking he didn't intend to put himself in the shop window for a better club and succeeded. |

you have seen mcdonnel several times this season. I saw enough of him last year to not loose any sleep when he signed for fc. can be good, but has an equal ammount of bad games / plays.
